Driveway Parking

I love it. You have just thoroughly described a situation that drives me crazy. I see my neighbor's car out in the driveway all the time. When his garage door is opened, I can see why. If you have a garage, why not just use it for what it is intended, park the car in it already.
Fun poem, thanks for a morning giggle.

You are not alone. A great many people if they are honest use their garages for storage areas. This poem has a clear message that is relatable. The font size is easy to read. The rhyme scheme is 2nd and 4th lines in every verse, and it is done consistently. There is also a tad of humor in your poem. The visual is funny and fit perfectly. You have a great entry. Good luck!

Congress should investigate how many homes in the U.S. of A. are misnamed as a place to park a car for I am willing to bet many more are used as storage bins.

Very nice. You did a good job with this. Your chosen mess is one that many people can relate too. And it's the reason many people park on the street, even in winter. Your rhyme is strong and well crafted.
This will likely win.

Hi! Good luck for the contest
with this beauty of a poem
about the messes we make.
Our garage is the same way.
We had to sell a barely used
treadmill we bought for
$700, for only $60. We just
didn't get anyone who was
willing to pay the $200 we
wanted for it, lol! Your poem
is charming and witty. Have
a creative weekend. Blessings

I think if my wife would leave the garage to me, it would be a mess like this Speaker's. Our car, too, sits outside on the driveway in all seasons. Stanza 5 could almost stand alone.
