A+ ...This poem is exceptional. It is full and fills the soul. This is a lovely tribute to a very cool lady. This reminds a lot of the profundity in the song called Let Your Soul Be Your Guide. The visual imagery was nice. Good verbiage and details. Clearly thought out. You sprinkled alliteration like fading flames and refrain reflect. Good flow of lyrical rhythm and rhymes. Great work :)

Roy, this is a wonderrul poem, and it's very kind of you to dedicate it to your friend and her family. I know there is a way you the poets to do a voice-over narration of their poems. You should try that. I would love to hear you narrate one of yours. Good job. Terry.

Keeping in mind Gert Sherwood, it's a nice piece of poetry beautifully highlighting 'Twilight's Shadow!'
The poem has impressive phraseology, enchanting flow through out from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and depicts its theme in a remarkable way.
1st line of the 1st stanza and last two lines of the last stanza are particularly noteworthy.

What a wonderful poem! Surely, death isn't the end and we shouldn't be afraid to go to meet God, for He will definitely call us one by one at his own appointed time. After death, another life begins, and salvation is the ultimate.
How kind of you to dedicate such a lovely piece to your friend. She's surely at peace in the Lord's vineyard.
I certainly love the image; reminds me of Scotland.

Unfortunately, yet another beautiful soul has transitioned to the realm of eternity. I remember Gert well, although I did not know her well. What I do recall, Gert was always positive and always very respectful to all.
A beautiful poem Roy, it captures the sentiment and intent with a style, creative flare and faith you are synonymous for.
Even though this poem was composed in 2017, the words, nor their beauty or intent, wavers within a time frame of the sentiment and clarity of the message... God's breath has cleared the way.
Rest Easy Gert!
With our thoughts we create...
a loving sanctuary.
