There is a time limit on everything God created. The fire soon dies as the candle glows. It goes out in a puff of smoke. As soon as we take our last breath, the soul releases like smoke from a smouldering candle left behind in liquid. Some people claim to have seen souls ascend. Thanks for sharing. May Gert's body rest in peace.

I know I always say this, but I love this one. What a kind and wonderful tribute to your friend and such an honor for her as well. I love your poems because they always end in hope through our Lord and Savior and praises to God!
I think you maybe already noticed it, but if not you should go into editing and send the first line to match the others. This happens to me all the time, but just thought you might want to know. Very nice, Roy. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. How thoughtful of Stan to post and let us know! I've been in contact with Tom, who was unaware of her passing. He informed me she did not have a Premiere Shield nor Eternal Flame. I am assuming her work will be accessible until her membership expires. Tell me please...are you starting this book in her honor! I ask because when I clicked on "Mu!til author Book" I was prompted to write chapter one-- but that can't be right since you've posted this! Please advise!!!
