Excellent entry for the Rhyme That 1-6-1 writing prompt contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. The presentation and imagery are nice.
Bullying is so hurtful, some words can be truly damaging.

Been that way since Cain and Abel. Is it any different in nature where the weakest are the ones hunted and slain? Doesn't make it right in human lives but we should realize nothing is going to change.

I was bullied back in the 60s and beat up as well by classmates. I believe you may be right, sadly. Thank you for reading my poem. :)

That is so often the case - they do not know why they have become the victim, but the power is in the bully group. Good to raise awareness of the distress. Best wishes for your entry.

This is a sad but true experience for too many kids. Sigh and Cry are great bookends for this short poem. The visual fits perfectly, but it is a heartbreaking image. Well-done and good luck in the contest!

This is so sad. What makes kids do such things? They are so young, and where does it come from? Who teaches them to bully someone at such a young age? I do not understand this. Thank you for the awareness.

I don't either, but it happened to me when I was 10. I think it was because of being painfully shy, though I'm not sure why kids are bullied because of that. Thanks for reading my poem.
