"Suddenly, the sun and a hazy rainbow" isn't really a sentence. This piece was kind of choppy and a little confusing. (You are walking by the lake, then in a parking lot?) Still, you did a good job with just a few words. Best wishes to you.

Corrected sentence fragment to The Sun and a rainbow appeared. Thanks for the catch. The parking lot is near the lake. They are running to their car for shelter and then the sun appears, and she is relieved. Sorry, you did not understand the happening.
