What a great ambition you have Jim. Yes, the best thing one can do in life is to set a noble vision and ambition, the newness of life blooms for the elderly too, (not that you're old) but we must all have dreams, they keep us alive, this is beautifully written my friend, with the deftness you are developing as a poet, great theme of combining purity of Flowers with the young manā??s desire, blessings Roy

A lovely tribute to flowers in general. This sonnet makes me think you are a gardener and certainly a flower enthusiast. I wondered how the roses were "procured" but picking or by purchasing? Beautiful sonnet!!

Oh, but to purchase a rose when the cost is more than gold, tis nature's elixir, the rays of sun and gentle pruning when buds have sprung then to snip a stem or two and give them both to you! :)
