It is a wonder you survived all this. The tension must have been extreme. You must not have high Blood Pressure to have survived having a stroke. Evan as well. You were a very strong couple to manage all the stress. Well done. Nancy:)

Actually we both had high blood pressure and I was subject to often having heart palpitations so we were vulnerable like anyone else. We did survive it but I'd sure hate to repeat it. Thanks so much for another great review.

Hi, It is always good to see you reviewing my stories. Yes this was a bad trip. Sometimes I wonder how we managed to get through things without going nuts. I really appreciate the great review and the six stars. The one leading up to this is still active.

What a nightmare! Painful to read. At least, you lucked out with the good Samaritan when your tire went flat. Then the rental car people gave you flack. I can picture you holding that tire and getting all black! It's a good thing you were young and had the energy to pack and repack.
Too bad you had to bring Dad along with his medical problems. But I guess you had no choice since Connie adored her grandparents.
I'm glad the service went well even with the cleaning lady getting involved LOL
Leaving her luggage behind? Connie sure is a featherhead.

Thank you for a great review. I enjoyed your comments. I didn't feel so young after that trip, I was wiped out. I had no one to leave Dad with because he was pretty much helpless. I didn't plan to take him to the to the wedding, but I was hoping one of his neighbors who lived near him before I moved him could stay with him. Every wedding or occasion we have seems to have other things going wrong. Evan broke his hip when Don got married, and we had flat tire at Carol's wedding and Evan's blood pressure when sky high. One Christmas celebration saw both me and my son-in-law breaking our ankles. Another Christmas saw me in surgery and my house burning down. So I dread any occasion.
