This is so sweet! I love the line: "Smoochy, full lips make it memorable!"
I seem to remember this came in second in the contest?? Congrats.
Take care,
Erika

Yes! Thank you for noticing! xo

Exactly. My sentiments right on the nose. The best form of intimacy, especially for an old fart like me. Some things just don't work anymore but Kissing is always available. Your verse seems to be written for oldies like me anyway.
Very nice.

Well, I'm an oldie, too, so that makes sense.

Effective. Picture goes well with it. The one thought I have would be to edit and remove "all these years later" for it makes that line too long in sight and besides, the following line says the same thing. :-)

Rachelle...
What a great homage to kissing--something we don't attempt to put into words very often. Your poem captures the essence of this simple, but powerful experience.
Your strong, clear theme is supported and propelled forward by laser-focused content. Well done. Your word choice is exceptionally powerful and engaging (alive, irresistible, memorable, satisfying, intoxicated, tingles). Kudos to you.
Great work, my friend. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Also, your photo and color scheme are awesome.
Blessings...

You are welcome. It was my pleasure, Rachelle...
You are most welcome. It was my pleasure and the accolades were well-deserved.
And thank you for following me. I hope you enjoy my work (actually, I hope you are not disappointed with it). I plan to reciprocate in the near future (insert long story for another time about my system for following writers and the commitment I make when doing so).
Happy that my comments on your excellent work brightened your day.
Blessings...

This is an adorable romance acrostic - it speaks of young and new love and the thrills you receive every day. I hope you truly have tingles always.
Good luck in this contest.

I truly do! (And 23 years in, too!!!)

I thought this was a well written poem. You do a great job of talking about IT without actually doing so. :) A beautifully written poem that shares the love you feel.

Your acrostic poem was very romantic indeed! I especially like the "I continue to be Intoxicated" line. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This is true. No matter how many years pass, those kisses last a lifetime.
I like the picture you used with this subject. That kiss will keep the fire burning. Even blindfolded, I would know my deceased husband's kiss. No one could ever compare to his. Thank you for sharing.

When you find the right person, kissing is amazing. My wife and I do the best kisses, and they can always remind us of why we love one another so much. I very much enjoyed your poem.

I hear you, Mike. My husband calls kissing "the straw that stirs the drink."
Thanks for the nice review.
