This is a case where the image, the font style and color, the authentic use of cowboy language all came together masterfully.

Add to that this sentimental tale and I'm searching my saddle bags for the six stars you deserve and groaning because I don't have a dang one left!!!

Very fine presentation.

I owe you a six!

Bob,
This poem is awesome. I like the cowboy vernacular you use.
A sad and very effective story.
Good luck with all your writing,

Willie,
This is a well told rhyming story in mountain man vernacular. I like that he
died and was buried in his favorite place.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Hi Willie,
I very much enjoyed your poem. I was counting up the spelling and grammar errors (because I'm part of the grammar police), and then I realized that the poem was written in that style on purpose. I also like the font you chose. It adds to the authenticity of the piece. Great job!

Hi Willie, I felt the raw wind and cold blowing through your poem. And it was a sad story, about your friend and you splitting up and going in different directions, and you finally found him "froze to death." But I believe your friend was happy that he died where he wanted to be, that comes across in your poem. I hope you two can be together soon. Dove

I enjoyed reading this story in a poem. You did a great job keeping it all cowboy. It's a sad story, yet beautiful. Thank you for sharing. The artwork you chose was perfect.

Mr. Willie P. Smith, you have written a wonderful poem. I have to give a virtual six because I am out as usual. The use of the cowboy lingo is outstanding! You told this story exceedingly well! Congratulations. Terry.

This poem gave me goosebumps. What a powerful story of Bob, a great guy and a good friend, who talked about dying, but his friends thought he'd live forever.

The scene of his death is extremely powerful. RIP, Bob.

I enjoyed this very much, thank you for sharing.

Everything about this poem was good. I loved the print you used; it really suited the story. The poem itself was beautifully written. Most of all I enjoyed the story, it had great credibility, and it deserved every one of the six stars.

A sad theme but narrated with artistic aplomb both verbal and visual - the 'cowboy lingo ' enhances the work and invites the reader to share this milieu in such an authentic manner
