"The King Still Lives" gives a brief bio of Elvis Presley. It celebrates one of his songs, and praises what his music accomplished in what are often awkward, inverted lines mutilated so they will rhyme. However, this poem does make a functional acknowledgement of a great music artist.

I think Elvis has survived with his reputation in tact all these years and his voice is heard often as it is smooth as silk and reminds us of love and tenderness. A fine tribute here, much enjoyed, I heard his music as I was reading your wonderful words, love Dolly x
