This is a very well written poem you have penned using the required words. You put them in very good sentences that went well with the picture you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings, teri

You did a great job writing a poem with the words supplied. I liked your story of Sue and her new job, and I liked your rhymes. Thank you so much for sharing this here, and best wishes to you.

"Sue's New Job" is a trimeter poem with four-line quatrains and an a-b-c-b rhyme scheme. The poem is humorous and good-willed and describes an improbably perfect woman starting a new job. Some of the poem's lines are a little clunky and imperfect in pursuit of the desired meter, but it's a good poem and one that any hiree would be pleased to receive.
It surprises me that the limerick form shows up so rarely in FS poetry; this form, with its variants, is wonderful for humor and banter. Perhaps its reputation for use in vulgar poems cause it to be overlooked.

I thought the poem was great, chunky lines?

'Clunky,' in this case meaning not functioning rhythmically. I should perhaps have used an example and suggested what I would think is an improvement. I guess that to me, great means something else. But - I am sorry that I disappointed you. Frank

I don't know where the word trimeter came from.
