Somehow I missed seeing your entry and entering the contest. Mother Nature does need our help because apparently our politicians have their heads stuck in the ground.

    Thank for reviewing my entry.

    Once we have wiped our own species out , Mother Nature will once again flourish and thrive ..

    We are the problem , we caused climate change and now we are reaping what we sowed.

    I can?t sleep so I took a peek at fanstory.

    I?m worried for the future , it?s bleak . In July 155.000 illegals from Africa crossed the Mediterranean and reached Italy . And that s only the official number.

    In certain areas of cities , they command at night on the streets.

    On the 25 there are the elections here but no candidate is worthy to be our president .. they all were part of the last government

    it?s chaos here .. there are no meds .. my best friend s father who is bedridden at home , is dying and she has to wait till tomorrow for his daily morphine.

    Hospitals room stocks are always empty while camion of medicine and medical equipment are being sent to Ukraine .. does that make sense to you?

    There is an American war ship on the heal of Italy and two Russian ones in The Adriatic sea playing their tug of war. The Mediterranean is full of war ships .


    Sorry for the rant.

I thought with just three lines and a few syllable you did an excellent job of personifying mother nature and telling a story of her taking back her lands. Well done!

    Thank you for the positive feedback. I know it?s an old topic but it?s clear our leaders have still not understood the urgency and keep on delaying concrete action.

Wow - in this short poetic format a tale is told, so to speak, about how we treat our precious planet home and the damage we have done and are still doing !!
