I watched a documentary about 3 different homeless men. It was on one of the cable stations years ago. Each one had their own story and all were different but the one thing they all said was being spoken to. Just hearing someone ask them for their name was sometimes better than money. They said it made them feel human again. This was a wonderfully thought provoking poem. A good reminder that no matter your station in life, we are all just human beings.
