Oh, I am SO reading the next chapter of THIS terrific tale!! I am hooked already, like Miranda's fifth grade underwire bra! Great details, consistent, believable point of view, and excellent pace. Miranda's a go-along-to-get-along type, but there is definitely some pluck in there, and it's going to come to the surface real soon; we can feel it!!
