Way to take a Biblical story and turn it into an interesting piece of fiction. I can't remember the name of the book, but a few years ago I read a novel "narrated" by the wife of Jesus. It was quite controversial, of course, but it was an accurate and interesting accounting of how women of Jesus' time lived and were treated by the community.
Love your inventive story - one never knows what they're going to get from you, except that it will be well-told.

Thank you Wayne. The religious leaders were quite hypocritical, and arrogant in their belief system, but jealous of Him and His following. They didn't believe because they would not accept that He could be right. Thanks for your thoughtful and insightful review.

Thanks so much Judy. I do at times hear of supernatural healing events. After considerable prayer for her, (mainly for her to have peace before surgery, and a speedy recovery) one friend's large cancerous tumour had disappeared, the day before her surgery was scheduled. The specialists were amazed, and no-one could explain it. Sometimes it still happens I think, but then it was for Jesus to establish his ministry and show He was sent by God to fulfil His purpose on earth. Thanks so much for your thoughtful review.

You have reiterated one of the stories of the bible, putting it into a familial context, and showing it from the point of view of the people who could have been around at Jesus's time. As we have seen for other tales, the discord between those who believed in Jesus and those who wanted to discredit him is highlighted.

I never understood why they doubted his miracles and teachings. Satan truly had his claws deep within them. What a wonderfully written POV of this story in the Bible. Very unique.
