I found this story something different from the regular run of stories on here. I love the name for the sheep. Some of the penance they had to do were hilarious. I enjoyed this story and will watch for more.

Thank you for your entertaining review.
It is difficult coming in cold. If you are interested, it is about a real trip to England but tweaked to go 'Twilight Zone ish' The first 18 chapters are about the power spots we visited, along with a crop circle. All with discussion about the Michael & Mary ley lines. This was building up to an idea of a sense we'd gotten, that we'd been there before. There were some pretty horrible things that happened. So I decided to write about them. You are welcome to scan through my portfolio to read any chapters leading up to this chapter. You could begin on chapter 16 to get into it. No need for a review, just enjoy.

As usual this chapter was entertaining. I hear monastic life is super harsh, but we are humans and we need to make the best of every situation. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Thank you for your involved review. I know things are much healthier these days for monks. We have a group in Vermont who were nearly starving in the 60's. Somehow, a therapist was able to work with them to learn to enjoy themselves and take better care of themselves. Here they are today, a lot of them still there.

Ah, Liz I was just going to point out a couple of snags, scoundrel 4 times ouch! "Whatever did you do." And gallows humour. I had them all ready to write them down... and blow me Liz has already noted them. So now there is nothing to correct and your story is coming along very neatly, so I'll give you a five and two kisses! Luv U Anne.

The things that happened to them in the past can now be viewed with humor and acceptance since it shouldn't happen again. This has certainly been a life changing experience for them. I saw one problem: Abraham. (extra quote marks) Which would . . .

This is another interesting summation of what went on in the 16th century and how many of these women were involved, Liz. I did think your last chapter was to be your last, so I was surprised. Thanks for the update.

It's good that the ladies can thank each other for the kindnesses shown when back in the 16th century. I guess they all survived so that they can now laugh about it. Did they ever find Stewy?
I find it a bit awkward having both names such as " Evelyn as James. " I think it's easier just as John/Cyndy to cover the multiple identities. Just my preference but you might have just the opposite reaction from another reader.

Thank you for your loyal review. The name combos & the centuries are a challenge to navigate to accommodate readers as you have anticipated.

The Abbot really got creative thinking of penances for improper behavior. The penance for the losing of the sheep at least was based on real need ... although it was carried to extremes and could have had disastrous results.

I'll bet there's an interesting story behind your being in a convent.

A few tiny things:

"Stewy the sheep out into the street?" [Theese are minor things to point out, but you used a closed quote, instead of an open quote for beginning "Stewy the sheep ..."]

yelling each word in staccato 'had four sheep'." [The order at the end should be period, single quote, double quote.]

And one not so tiny one. Consider limiting your list at the bottom of your chapter to only those things the average reader wouldn't be expected to know. I felt a little offended that you thought you needed to tell me what gallows humor was. I think most anyone knows, or can figure out with a little imagination. Same with the definition of scoundrel. I would definitely leave both those out. The rest was interesting, especially your personal experience vis-a-vis penance.

I don't know if I've told you this, but reading about your ladies reunited in this century feels like catching up with old friends. I love following your work. Keep it up!

What a great continuation chapter, Liz. I am so glad that each one got to reinforce their role as a brother. A fair number of them had the chance to speak. It was a horrible time for them to be trapped in a monk's body. Very well done, greatly enjoyed.
