My knees have been gone for years now. I am happy I never had surgery. My prayers go out for them, for healing and for pain management. Blessings. Barbara. Xo

Amen! the poem A Prayer for Knees reminds us that knees were not designed to do the things we ask of them. I used to run marathons and was on the FBI's 5K team in New York City. We trained daily, running at least 35 miles a week, sometimes as many as 60. Now, my knees remind me of how poorly I treated them when I was young.

That indeed was a great x-ray of the knees, Helene. Of course, I really enjoyed your poem about all the stress our knees really take. I will pray for Jesse today and for speedy recovery and for Debi on the 12th as will my friends. Hugs!

I hear you. Mine was messed up. I had three operations on the same knee and it is still messed up. My other one needs it but I will not do it again. Maybe my bones are just brittle.. It is not a bad operation though. God Bless them and let them experience a speedy recovery. Well done, Helen. Good job. Nancy:)

Thank you for sharing these prayer needs with us. I promise to pray for Jesse and Debi. I am happy to learn Anne and Yvonne sons' surgeries went well. I will continue praying their recoveries also go well.

You made me smile with this one Helen, "A prayer for knees!" Knee surgery is a lifesaver as our joints fail us. A fine tribute to those undergoing this procedure just now, I hope it all goes well, some clever rhymes here, love Dolly x

I'll certainly add my prayers that the knee surgery goes well. It is a surgery that usually makes the person able to get around much better and without pain. My doctor said I needed it on both knees twenty years ago but opted out and have continued to have pain. I inherited knees that go bad from my grandfather and father. The Y has kept me going, but not pain free. The surgery usually lasts about ten years. There is about six weeks of rehab.

Oh, I'm glad you are able to deal with the pain without surgery. What is the Y? Thanks for reviewing, Beth! Hope you got my message. Hugs!

The YMCA where I go to water aerobics three times a week and work out an hour or so. There is no pain in the water.

That's good to know! I'm glad you're doing the water aerobics but that means driving there and back. Hope the roads are safe. 💖

Yes, I'm praying for both, and giving thanks for the first two. All serious operations, and God is the divine Healer. Thanks for the reminder to keep praying via your caring verse.

Amen! I always loved my surgeon's painting in his office with Jesus directing the surgery. Thanks for praying, Wendy! Hugs!

A lovely prayer, and I know Debi is on a bit of a long road with her surgeries and recovery. But she's so positive, and she will have many praying for her.

I know this is a serious subject, but I had to smile when I saw the title.

So true about the stress our knees are placed under - I think we all know people who have had them replaced.

This is a nicely rhymed poem, and I'm sure Debi and Jess appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Thank you so much, Pam! With your area of expertise, I know you must have great ways to maintain healthy knees. I'm always amazed remembering that we were born without kneecaps!
    Hugs and blessings!

On it! Lord, we bring our dear ones before you and ask that you would repair their important knees. Lord, you have mighty wonder working power to heal and strengthen. We ask that everything would go well and these two be up and around with vigor and flexibility. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen!

Thank you for sharing, dear one. Keep me posted. :))
How are you? How can I pray for you? Are you still in Hawaii? Thinking and praying today for you and yours,
