Thank you for this stunning and beautifully articulated explanation of your beliefs based on research and personal experiences. I enjoyed reading your incredible account of the agonizing crucifixion and resurrection and what it meant for mankind. This post really blessed me and gave me comfort as you reiterated our Christian beliefs. I literally said, "Amen," on several occasions. Thank you, Lorraine, for your beautiful, faith-filled and exceptional review of my post, as well as your patience with my delay in responding.
I reworked the post to (hopefully) avoid and negate any perceptions that it was a personal attack against the anonymous atheist, as it was always, only in the spirit of debate. I think the new version is better, but I guess I'll know better, if I decide to promote it again.
It gives me great joy to express my faith and see it echoed back by a sister in Christ! May God bless you and your family.

I appreciate how you characterized my response as non-judgmental. A few reviewers didn't see it that way, so considering that, and in an effort to be as fair as possible, I reworked my post so that it didn't sound as though it was directed at any person, while not sacrificing the expression of my views and beliefs. Thanks, Liz, for your excellent, complimentary and honest review--including the link. While it doesn't change my views, I did take note of what it said.
No, I didn't send this anonymous person a PM, but in retrospect, I should have done exactly that, and written the entire post without reference to any individual (even unnamed). Since I can't un-ring that bell, I went back and re-worked the post, so that it didn't seem like a personal attack. That was never my intention, even though an impassioned exchange of views can sometimes be mistaken to involve animosity. It was written in the spirit of debate, although I suppose it bordered on the contentious.
In my own life, things are a little better in some ways, and worse in others. If I didn't have faith, I would likely go bonkers. Thank you for caring. Love and blessings, Mary Kay xoxo

It's hard to enlighten people who only want proof or hard evidence of the existence of God. I always say the same thing. I have faith. He has shown me in both grand and small things of his existence. I believe. Thats all I can say. It's my choice to believe. I feel His love and power in all things. End of story.

It is good to see because I know you have too much on your plate to be here often. I think this is beautifully thought out and presented. It is very hard to reach those who have made up theirs mind that God doesn't exist. Sometimes that are very verbal and abusive in their attacks on those who believe the Bible is basically literal. I wonder why it matters to them to respond in this way when they believe they are so sure they are right. If they're sure why bother to attack others views. This well thought out and written with in such a way, that proves you didn't come by your views without doing a lot of thoughtful study and prayer.

I made some revisions to my post, because a few reviewers interpreted it as a personal attack on the non-believer, and I reworked it to express my views (hopefully) without personal references, even anonymous ones. Hopefully the end result is an overall improvement.
You are right, my views developed prayerfully, with thought and study. I give all glory to God, who illuminates our hearts through His Wonderful Holy Spirit; otherwise I would be truly lost! May He bless you always, my friend.

I did feel it necessary to rework my post, because a few people may have misunderstood my intentions toward any particular atheist who remained anonymous.
