This was so grounding. I seem to use that a lot when reviewing you poetry. But it's very true. My church has a labyrinth. It's a very calming walk. Just a path under some pine trees but it is calming and grounding. Thats how your poems are to me. No, this isn't much of a review but it's how I feel. Beautifully written.

Very true words Roy. Compassion is freelance and should be prevalent everywhere. Man can make it so by kneeling every so often to the one and only Lord.

I really like the Title this author gave the poem. I agree with the author
many times words unspoken are filled with compassion and speak to the hear! Thank you for the author's notes - they speak volumes! The poem flows and connects well. The artwork goes well with these words.

I love the thought of this poem - compassion has no nation. Yet any nation can be compassionate if it chooses, through its leadership, to be so. I believe if more governments led this way, more of its people would practice in this way. It used to be said that America was a great nation because we had a foundation of faith; we no longer have that, and we are no longer great (in my opinion).

A beautifully written thought-provoker for this Sunday and every day.

So very true, Roy, Compassion knows no nation and knows no border. Much of the world is mourning a monarch who reached out for seventy years.
Your poem is beautifully written and gave me much joy to read. Ulla:)))

Happy Sunday Roy,
What a sad but inspiring picture. The woman seems the soul of compassion and it makes us feel compassion for both her and the boy.
The artwork and words match well. Both serve to remind us that we should try to have as much compassion for others as Jesus has for us.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Your poem is entitled "Compassion has no nation" and proceeds to show us that Jesus is the embodiment of Compassion and Love to a degree that is beyond our understanding. And He is not tied to any nation. We all need to be on His side and desiring His kingdom above any earthly nation. Well said, Roy!

Stunning painting used with excellent and compassionate words. I have to agree that compassion has no nation.
It rankles me when we treat the stranger as an invader; we do not want to help the poor and see them as lazy;
We have politicians who wear their faith on their sleeve but use their position to spout hate and lies.
Off my soap box!
Blessings,
Mary

Once again you have shown why you have the rating you have. This touched me on an emotional level. Working as a hospice nurse it's important to me that compassion is shown to my patients and family. I would also have to agree with the line Care's compassion has no nation. Well done. I just love reading your writing.
