I have read quite a bit of Nomi (Nolan's) stuff. In fact, I have fanned him. I like it, it can be strong at times but is always equitable.
You did a good job getting him to talk of some personal experiences. I can remember my days in the army and the famed DIs. They could indeed be treacherous; he did not exaggerate one bit there.
It was great to get a glimpse of who is behind Nomi338. It is always good to get to know your fellow writers a little bit better.
Good interview, good interviewer and good interviewee.

Thanks so much Gary, and no spags? Lol. Thank you so much. Yeah, I didn't realize that this one would put me between a rock and a hard place. (Now there is a story for you. Why they say it? Not sure I ever heard it in the Bible tho) our interview went so well, and I am equally as happy with this one. So another case where I get to be a winner, just being involved with two of the best friends any girl ever ask for. Thank you for that and for this great review. I know Nomi will appreciate it as well.

Thank you so very much Helen. Wow you have been a busy girl this morning, being out of sixes so soon. Actually you have just been blessed to have had the best reading already! Yes Nomi is the star as he lived an amazing life. It also gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and write something besides poetry. Of special note:
I joined initially to escape poverty.
(Joining the military was an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape poverty and all the pitfalls that goes with it--someone looking to uplift their life. My brother joined the military for similar reasons.)
I felt I could write better than what was being recorded and sold.
(The above is signs of a true writer, artist, and musician. Just sharing--when it comes to music, my husband has had some of these similar feelings.)
If Life Ever Gives Me The Chance" and "Where You Goin' Boy?"
(Suggestion: Perhaps, a link to these two poems could be put into your author's notes. I'm sure that many would be interesting in reading these poems that might be long-buried in Nolan's portfolio.)
It is the negative personalities who are members of that body who would be no doubt, doing the same type of things no matter what organization they were a part of.
(I agree so much about negative personalities, and this can be said for other Organizations in our Nation--from Federal levels to Local levels.)
I love people of all sorts and it kills me to see anyone being mistreated. Especially if I can do something to help them.
(Ditto. I feel the same way, and I think that Debi is One of those people too as well as many other FS members. FS is a unique writing, global community were "everyone knows your name" as if we were a small town.)
In conclusion, a fantastic interview. I am sure that Nolan's book will be most interesting, and it will appeal to the masses. Well done interview and a pleasure to read. Keep the blue waters flowing. Margaret ~ LB

How ironic that I had just come from reviewing your wonderful story, that in so many ways is very relative to Nomi's and your life. Mine was rough, we were poor, but different situations. You silly boy, if anything it would be the opposite. Seriously I am so happy that you are satisfied with the outcome. This was so enjoyable and probably won't get to answer the reviewers until later, as I have family coming to be with me today.
