The worst are the follow-on thoughts, where a thread starts that my brain starts knitting into a sweater. If something were true, that would mean this would happen, then these people would get involved, and a new chain of events would start... Great for story ideas, terrible for sleep or getting work done. I very much enjoyed the read :-)
