Greetings...
I enjoyed your poem. Congrats on the contest win. Well done. Your words capture well the peaceful and tranquil beauty of a sunset. The contrast in your final stanza between sunrise and sunset was particularly strong.
Well done. I look forward to perusing and exploring more of your portfolio.
Blessings...

The light is blazing when I see the sunset lately. We have had a sunset in the backyard recently and it has been blazing red or orange. It is very inviting for a camera to take a picture of God's handiwork. Like your poem.

What a beautiful testimony to the Master artist and creator of heaven and earth. The majesty of a sunset cannot be beat. Those colors are magnificent and is the perfect way to end the day. In peace and tranquility. Lovely piece.

This sunset poem, Nightlight Show, presented with four quatrains, gives a terrific description of the colorful atmospheric display as the lights push through the mists. Nice.

What I feel with a sunset is the feeling of being tucked in bed. The day is over. Your mind and body aches for rest, and then Mother nature comes along and kisses you with one last smile before she turns off the lights.
Well done.

Thanks so much for reading my poem. :)

I have to agree with you, the rising sun is invigorating but a setting sun brings with it all the beauty of the day. It creates colors one wouldn't even think existed.
Very nice.

The camera work in this poem gives us a clear picture of day's end on Lake Superior. Especially noteworthy is your personification of the sun "shaking off the cares of day."
