Kudos to your former boss. Your fondness for succinctness will play well in many environments beyond the haiku (it will also provide you an opportunity to try on more pen names). Your short "share your story" entry is an excellent example of what you are capable of beyond haikus. I enjoyed your insights.

I love the haiku in the body of your story:
A dedication
To those who journal their lives
Within syllables.
I would offer a cautious suggestion in your "Author's Note" line: "The last couple of years have been an adventure into self-introspection." [It should be either "an adventure into the self" or "an adventure into introspection". Combining the two, in my estimation, is a bit of overkill.
But that's all ... I know you have a brilliant future here on FanStory. Enjoy yourself and make lots of friends. They can be invaluable.
