Ciao Sugarray!
I have never been a big reader but I have read books after seeing a film where I liked a character.
eg : I watched the Hobbit last Christmas for the first time and since, I have enjoyed reading fan written stories about my favourite elf characters.( biggrin)
Tolkien lore is 100 percent fiction yet when reading about them I get all wrapped up in the lives, There s Glorfindel a mighty warrior brought back to life to serve and protect Elrond the lord of Imladris ,the reserved Erestor , his Chief Advisor , the mischief twins of Lord Elrond etc

Hi Melissa,
I've only been captured a few times. Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" got me. Also, "Scott's Last Expedition", the story of Robert Falcon Scott's push for the South Pole. "White Fang" by Jack London was another book I couldn't put down. During a summer vacation in Prince Edward Island, around 1998 or so, I enjoyed "Sole Survivor" by Dean Koontz.
I like the personification of good books capturing you. Love the picture of the girl reading in the chair. I think she might have a difficult time getting out of there, captured by the book AND the chair!
Good Luck in the contest!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Hi there KB... so glad you liked this one and can relate. I love good books and can easily become immersed in the story, characters and the beauty of separating myself into their world. The immersion is part of the charm. Thank you so much, my friend.

Hey Melissa,
I like the picture. It shows her completely rapt in her book. The 5-7-5 is so true. Imagination is a big part of reading. I don't think that position would be comfortable for too long though.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I love the theme of this one. I live for good books. Whenever my mind is trapped with worries, I reach for a book to steal my thoughts away. Entrapping is a good way to put it.
It is so good to see that you are posting again. I have missed you. I hope you had a nice visit with your dad.

Hello Debbie. Thanks for asking about Dad... it was so good to sit and visit. This was the first time he had to use oxygen just to carry on a conversation. At 88 years, he is amazing ~ even with all of his health challenges. I love to read too. Next month our Book Club is reading the Scarlet Pimpernel. We mix old and new in our selections. Thanks, sweet friend.

It is good to hear from you, Melissa. :) I thought you were like me, out of FanStory because of the struggles of life. I love reading a good book, but don't have the time. I'm not like some ladies that kick off their shoes and lay on the chair. :) This is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Poetry Contest. Thank you for sharing.

How are you doing, Jose. Thank you for your lovely review. I have been gone a while... just rejuvenating my batteries. :). I have been reading a lot lately, so my mind is on books... hence the theme. Thanks again.

This 5-7-5, Entrapped, has the proper formatting and gives the quality of absorption to a well-written book, which ensnares the reader for a long stint in solitude.
