Mules are temperamental and they never forget someone ,is treating in any shape or way. Maybe do a mule background on the mules upbringing for your clue. Keep the horse and put the mule on the back burner,

Oh my goodness. He is a cutie. However, I heard they are mean. There is a quote, "Stubborn as a mule," and it sounds like this one. Yes, I would stay with a horse.
That mule can stay by itself with its attitude. We go through enough in life, and we do not need some mean animal trying to control us.
