This is a beautiful little Rispetto. I imagine it willl be wonderful to be able to finally see Christ's face. I not totally sure that it is always God's will that we be physically healed. Paul prayed for healing but it wasn't God's will. Sometimes the suffering is a way to keep us humble and strengthen. Spiritual healing is always God's will.

A lovely poem, and the older I grow, the more I long to see His face of love, and feel the fullness of His compassion and grace.
Now we see in part, but the reality will be superb at that time. Lovely poem, well said.

Isn't that what all believers wish for? To see God's face and know one day they will.
Stanza Two details what the results of that event will be, to know what "makes one feel completely whole."
A well crafted poem detailing this theme.

Your rispetto read well, Roy. You did a great job with its
style. Your lines were correct as were the rhymes. Your
message is clearly understood. Yes, one day true believers
will see God's face.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Thanks for sharing this, Roy. I think I am glad we have no real pictures of Jesus when He was here on earth. I am sure that He looked like any other man who lived in that area and time. But there is coming a day when we shall look on His face - what a joy that will be.

Roy, This is a very well written rispetto poem you have penned about to se God's face. What a wonderful and glorious time that will be. How humbling to think of getting to say thank You dear Lord in person to the One who died for me and rose again and lives within me. What a great day!!! Blessings, Teri

I have thought about for years what God's face would look like. I am sure I am not even close. I enjoyed reading your beautiful prayer poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Another wonderful post, my friend :) This one really inspired me. We all wonder about the day we will see our Lord. I believe we all have our own idea of what He may look like. Some see Him as a man while others see Him as a brilliant light. Some day, we will know. What matters to me is all the love He has for each and every one of us.
Always your fan,
Shana :)

A lovely prayer poem, Roy! As always you used the poetic form well. Rispettos are a wonderful way to give the Lord praise and "respect." Praise Him for He alone can make us whole!
