You have chosen wonderful imagery for this piece. The literal image supports your words very well. I might have used "while" instead of with in the second line, but that is just a thought.

Autumn is a 2-10-2 poem entered in a contest, but I can't see the poet's name. Autumn is a season up North in the United States that I used to enjoy, with crisp mornings and bright red maple leaves. This poem made me miss Autumn the season. Autumn in South Florida is just a word. It means nothing much except that there are only six more weeks of Hurricane season and that the worst part of it is over. It means the temperatures will be in the 70s instead of the high 80s and low 90s. It is followed by another word, "winter," which means the rain will stop and it will stay in the 70s during the day. We still have to cut the grass. Not that I am going to complain.

Thomas, up north in western NC (ha, ha). We enjoy the crisp autumn evenings, warm sunny days. Literally we have four seasons each with there own expressions of life and the revolving earth we ride upon.
