Origami? Hmm. Have you reached the age of retirement? Sounds as if you have. Good luck. Still, watch out for the paper cut which if sufficient in number is a horrendous death.

You did a good job with the contest prompt, Mystery
Author. Your syllable count is within the guidelines
and your subject was well-expressed. I liked the contrast
between the nature things and the more sedate activity.
Your poem would benefit from some editing.
Using Advanced Editor ~
new font color--arial black-the shadow one here is hard to read
delete that HUGE blank space and symbols near the bottom
To do
Go to edit page in advanced editor on the last line
(or line right below it) of poem
slowly hit delete and watch the space disappear until it is about
two lines below your last poem line. SAVE
Best wishes in the contest, Jan

Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it but I have tried to do as you say but when I click on arial black it doesn?t change the font and I can?t find a delete to click on. Grrrr

highlight your work first then click on that font then save
use Advanced Editor

The delete is the key on your computer.
After you put the cursor on the last line slowly hit that until it's where you want it.

This put a big smile on my face. Loved it! At least you are staying active even if with origami. I thought this was very creative. With just three lines you say so much and it's just funny!

Thanks Michael. So glad you got it. So many people don?t get my humor. They take everything literally.
