This is a beautiful poem about a lovely little kitten, Henry Soot Mitten and I thought it appropriate to call his name. I love this poem because it's in remembrance of something that was loved and any reader can relate to love and death and the hurt and anguish felt through experiencing the loss through both. I enjoyed reading it because I can relate and if there was a such thing as pet heaven, Henry Soot Mitten, I believe would certainly be welcomed in.
