Congratulations, Barbara! How wonderful. No, the publishers response doesn't surprise me. I self-publish for that reason. The world today has gone over the cliff in wokeness and other stuff too wicked to speak of at the moment. I'm on Amazon Books, Amazon Kindle, too, and two of my books are on Audible.

Sending love and blessings back to you and yours.

Barb,

WAIT! Is this the book you JUST told me that you were GOING to self-pub??? If so, how on earth did you do that so quickly? WOW! Superwoman, indeed!

Congrats, congrats, congrats! Another UN-woke story to help save our wonderful, traditional way of life! HUZZAH!

Love it!!

Of course, I have to have a signed copy -- how many books do you have now? How much are they each? Can I get the author to personally sign them and mail them special??? YAY for you! (And us!)

Congratulations, Barbara! I can't imagine what kind of publisher it was who wouldn't accept a novel where no males got pregnant, unless is was a sci-fi publisher. I'm glad you persevered and got it published. I'll have to look for it on Amazon.

You?re most welcome, Barbara. I found the book on Amazon. Will it be coming out in kindle format in the future?
reply by the author on 18-Oct-2022
No, I decided not to do kindle. Actually, the guys helping me published suggested not to do kindle.

Hmm, that?s too bad. I mostly read e-books now because I don?t have to hold them. Arthritis in my thumb joints.😥

sorry, according to the gentlemen helping me I wasn't getting any royalty with the eBooks because they didn't cost anything to prime members. So, people were reading my books for free.

Awe. I always wondered how that worked. There are many e-books available for free or just a couple of dollars, but not all of them and most are only for a limited time, usually to get sales started. I thought it was up to the author to decide. E-books are always cheaper though because there is no printing fee.
