Grandma proves as she keeps a cordial relation with her first bon grandchild Jess now she is 37 years old; Jess checks her grandma if she keeps and rears her childrearing department to her and her mother's expectation; ultimately it was a good example once; well said, well done, post god speed more, share post not 4 self-joy-pride but 4 God and readers worldwide Alcreator Litt Dear (DR)

I loved this. Your granddaughter sounds like an amazing woman. This was a cute story. I have four grandchildren . I totally understand the need to get calm. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Gretchen

"We Have Come Full Circle" is a story I well liked. It is so clearly written and describes both the daughter and granddaughter in a loving way by the grandmother. It ends with completeness leaving no question about what it is like to be a grandmother.

I thought this was an interesting story of life, and relationships. All the personal touches and emotion in the language made the events come alive and also touched us as readers. I thought the experience of having to arrange her whole trip to Australia probably made her much more self sufficient and confident and mature. You can see the evolution of yourself over the years as well, mellowing out and learning to be more elastic in your relationships and accepting of what the younger people want to do in their lives. That makes for more successful relationships. The give and take comes through here too. She needs your calm, eye in the storm place in her life. estory

I really liked your story. It is such a sweet sentiment, and well done tribute to your granddaughter and all the joy that she has brought to you. This story touched my heart, as it made me think of my own grandchildren, who I don't get a chance to see or visit with them. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

I very much do like your story. It is a story of how generations can use their experience to help the next generation to become more of who they authentically are and pass that knowledge on to the following generation. Fine work in fact and in story

Wow! What a great story! It just reminds me how life can be easy or hard, depending on the type and style of upbringing. Being an 'old school' parent myself, I wish I could go back and address the many problems which arose thanks to my misguided parenting style. The thing about parenting is, you make mistakes but you realise it when it's too late sometimes. I love the spirit of 'full circle' in this story, and that makes me think that kids remember things till grown up, good things or bad. I wish I could have made them remember mostly good things...
Thanks for enlightening us with this story, it will surely make me reflect as a grandparent ( which may come sooner than later!)

Thanks so much for reading and sharing your own thought. I believe we all make mistakes large and small in parenting and in every other relationship. As long as they are made out of our intent to love, then it will all work out in the long run. Love allows a lot of room for both errors and forgiveness. Again, I appreciate your review. ann

Solving your problem! That is so cute. I can totally relate. Grandchildren are our bonus in life.

What a beautiful story! And what a lovely girl, now woman, Jess is. She sounds kindhearted and giving. A joy to be around.

A wonderful read.

Oh, I have tears in my eyes at the beauty of this story you wrote for someone else. You must keep this one safe for your lovely (and loving) granddaughter to one day treasure as a reminder of how special your relationship was -- I never knew my grandparents, and how I would have loved to!
Well done, my friend, well done!
