Well Ms Lulube, I had to come over to your page to see what your works look like, and I am very impressed and only read one thing so far. I loved this. I agree with you 100% with this one, as no matter how I feel about my faith and it is strong, I also know that Halloween does not have to be deemed as evil. Just as playing with dolls used to be a fun and normal thing for little girls, now my grandkids hate to be upstairs alone in out house because the dolls freak them out. Halloween didn't do that, horror movies did that, and other freakish behaviors that make these things less than admirable for the kids. I agree, let the kids be kids. After all Halloween used to belong to them. And as far as I am concerned, still does. So Lu, good for you and I must says, you my dear are a real doll. The good kind!! Lol

I like the colorful artwork you chose to use for your poem. The words you chose are support the emotions some express during this holiday. It is a good effort. A correction is needed to make the syllable count 7. I wish you good luck in the contest.

FanStory places a Milestone announcement when someone posts their first piece, 50th, 100th, etc. Under your poem FanStory said it was your 750th post. You go girl!

Lulube, I like your entry, but if you correct it may be better. You have the spirit of Halloween and you treat us all with your writing but the trick is that on the second line you have 6 beats. Correct that and you is fine. :)
