Oh, how charming! You evoke much wonderful imagery with this beautiful free verse -- sadly, I do not have any sixes left to rate it properly. But I wish you well in the contest with a sublimely worthy entry.

Thank you for your kind review. I wish we had a dozen sixes to give away each week; that might be enough :)

O yes indeed, nature will still keep "naturing" in spite of us, whether we garden or not, whether we tend the roses or pluck the weeds, whether we wash the car, or empty the garbage, nature is as industrious as ever. Love this lovely free verse. Beautifully written Joanne, blessings Roy

Thank you for introducing to this beautiful garden of words and tranquil bird sanctuary.

-Very nice floral descriptions.
-Birds descriptions, characteristics, sounds and movement a delight to read.
-....down to the tiniest ladybug.
A very elegant poem, with lots of snap and mamba.

This is a fine nature write as wildlife never care if the garden is messy and in disarray, in fact the more overgrown the garden, the better they like it! I loved your imaginative write and you included so many magical scenes here, a joy to read Crystie, love Dolly x

Yes, we do. Beautifully penned and illustrated poem in remembrance of summer.

As we go into winter, there's not much that needs doing here except massive clean up and pruning since the hurricane. I long for spring's new growth.

Sending you my best today as always,
Sal :))

This is a very well written free verse poem you have penned about gardening and how the birds don't mind that at all. You used great descriptive words. I love to watch the birds in our back yard. We have some bird houses, and it is very interesting to watch them. love and blessings, Teri

Your poem tells us of the beautiful things that God creates for nature. Nature is heard by the several birds that will chirp, sing, and drill holes in a tree while the fruiting plants and flowers need water.

That little blackbird is so adorable! And yes, some weeds develop seeds which are important for our bird friends to eat. Yes, lots of things still go on but we have to do our part to bless (and water) the world around us. Best wishes in the contest!!
