Harry,
Your poem reminds me of the days long ago when I used to go to dances. I remember slow dancing--that meant a guy was interested.
Your sweet poem is a testament that love at first sight and everlasting love are real and precious.
Congrats on the 60 wonderful years.
Exceptional poem.
Blessings,
Cindy

A great poem to read. It brought back so many wonderful memories of high school and the dances. We were all nervous hoping someone would ask us to dance. I love how it ended with the togetherness. Great job.

This poem, Take a Chance, follows the challenge rhyme requirements and tells a story of taking that leap of faith and making, what was a dream, a reality. Nice.

I think many of us can relate to this experience. So often we had to dare ourselves to "take a chance" on romance.
I like how describe the Speaker's nervousness in the first two stanzas.
