This is very cute and worthy of the great win. I voted for it because it was realistic and seemed like something dogs would do.

Thank you for sharing this, my friend. Very nice work!!!

My own dog used to be a garden architect, specializing in plants rearrangement. She dug up carrots and beetroots, and buried them among flowers. Our garden therefore had a magnificent modern style.

I'm thinking of enrolling him in Atlanta School of Design. Apparently, Pip has taken a keen interest in my art supplies as well. Thank you for this awesome review. Gretchen

What a great way to start off my day with a smile on my face. Pip the designer. LOL. I once a Lexie that was a redesigner, she chews up everything in sight, even shredded the drapes off the window. Thanks for sharing.

Pip only chewed a couple of things. One was a pillow, the other my prescription glasses. Then he channeled his energy into interior design. Thanks for this review. Gretchen

Hi GW, this is such a fun story. I would have loved to see a picture of Pip amidst a newly decorated room, or in front of the coffee table, pillows scattered underneath. What kind of dog is Pip? I should have had him come to my place last year when I was moving in, to ask for his advice. I'm sure the furniture guys would have been happier. ;)

I wish you could have attached a picture! This is exactly the prompt that Yvonne gave us for the Animal Crackers Club today. But I see it's for a contest. Best wishes in it!

What a hoot! This is a very creative story for this contest. Good luck. Who needs a talking dog in a story when you can an interior decorator! Very fun. Terry

An enchanting piece, and vividly written. Are you in the Animal Crackers club? They give prompts for stories about animals, and the latest is about what career your pet would choose if he could. No deadlines or prizes but fun prompts. Nevertheless this is a great entry here, and I wish you success.
Wendy

I will definitely check out the animal crackers club. Sounds fun. Giving human personalities to animals is hysterical. Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Gretchen

There are a few here that own pets with extraordinary abilities, the problem is marketing those abilities, the dogs and cats themselves have little, if any, ambition, particularly when it comes to publishing, but well done, go on, earn your mum a fortune! Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Sounds like Pip has found his calling. This would make a great entry in the Animal Crackers Club. He seems to have come up with his own unique style, and I find that interesting. However, cats don't like change, so we'll leave things as they are here. lol.

Pip is always quite pleased with his arrangements. I, however, am sometimes a bit irritated. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Gretchen
