I like your Tanks poem - Excellent picture presentation -poem flows well and gives a clear picture of the theme - truth prevails, poets do seem to find that tragedy is the most human condition, and seem to gravitate towards it with their words -bleeding melancholic notions about the "souls dark night"- good line! Good Job AP

Another fine poem, Gypsy----and it helps to talk out you troubles on paper....the trick is to immerse yourself in them while writing, but to wrench your mind back from that dark place

I do feel poets pour themselves into their work much more than prose writers. Prose writers do offer a piece of themselves in all they write, but poets place themselves on a limb every time. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, I like poetry more than prose because I can create a mental picture and add emotion. That's why I love Japanese poetry.
