Terry, I am being careful what I write since my stress level has been over the top recently yet I notice on this post that the name Chelsea is sometimes spelled without the second 'e' and that is confusing and distracting to this reader. But the story is heartwarming and does have the Christmas spirit in it so I give you a five-star rating I must say you wrote this briefly and didn't belabor the point you made so I am pleased with the result. Uplifting and heartfelt this is an excellent Christmas story.

And referring to your Author's Notes, I agree, there is always some truth in our stories, most are built around that small piece of truth. I really enjoyed this, my friend, and I'm thinking the little bit of truth is the part were your wife wouldn't know where you are if you didn't put your outside lights on.

This sounds autobiographical. I'm glad you convinced her using your power of story telling. What a great story teller you are. I enjoy this Christmas light story a lot and didn't about the strict condo rules like this.
