As we already know, the problem is not people responding to rules, people just do what's expedient anyway, it would take a massive repentant turning to make a difference, (2 Chronicles, 7:14) It needs an intervention, the bible's already been written, we see the signs all around us, man won't have the privilege of destroying earth, it belongs to God. Our friend's daughter is a raging environmentalist, and she flies in planes all the time, what battery is going to fuel them? I've already challenged her, she won't discuss it, it's a religion, but Phariseeical one. But great poem Wendy, blessings Roy

Yes, our care for the planet begins with the actions of each individual. We were given stewardship.
But as you say mankind in his sin is fulfilling God?s Word. Thanks for your thoughtful words.

It seems in every possible way, Mother Earth has been conversing with us about our wasteful habits.
Have we turned a deaf ear? So many throw their arms in the air and point to governments...
Your point is essential. Every single one of us, who choose environmentally conscientious behavior, make a difference.
Every walk, for example, that I take, I bring gloves and a small trash bag and get a bit of extra exercise bending down to collect litter.
Soda cans, water bottles, take out food bags.
Am I changing the world? A wee bit, for sure!

At this point in time, the green of money is worth more than the green of earth. Anything that affects raking in money will have slow changes, if any changes, and only if absolutely necessary.
