Oh, what a sweet lune! I think that sunrise birdsong is about the most joyous sound of the day, yet song folks I know complain about it like it's a racket! If you can believe it! Nicely done! Best of luck in the contest!

    Thank you very much Dawn. I agree - it's a pleasure to hear them in the early morning, with fresh cool air and no other sounds.

Your charming poem and the accompanying picture, remind me of spring which is particularly nice with winter coming on. I've never written a Lune. I think I'll see if I can some up with something as nice. Good luck in the contest.

This is a beautifully worded Lune poetry contest entry. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated. I especially like your last line.
The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

Just looking at your glorious picture allowed me to hear the concert. Oftentimes I just sit and listen to the birds in the morning.
Such simplicity ignites a spark in one's soul.
God's gift to mankind. As you state;
"Sunrise Choir Delights".

Beautifully penned an illustrated poem in this form for the contest, mystery poet. I love the birdsong and it's perfect for poetry like this.

Sending along my very best today as always, and my very best for the upcoming contest.

I like the idea of the sunrise choir and waking to its joyful song. I once read somewhere (not sure if it's true or not), but birds sing first thing in the morning to let others know they lasted the night. Thanks for sharing, and good luck in the contest.

"Sunrise choir delights!" I've this line so much. I'll never forget my wedding day 20 years ago when I woke to the warbling of so many birds. It truly was a choir!! What a beautiful lune you created with outstanding word choices.
