There is a lot here and it says a lot about what you want the readers to know. As much as everyone wants to be known as a "wannabe author", who "drone on endlessly, unlikely to be printed by a publishing house", it is upbeat.

No ill intent intended, but as described my mind engages and I lose control of my lips and larynx. Don't know how to end it. Thanks for the comment.

Ah well done, again identifiable by your own individuality - a good thing. Our writing must be a bit like our fingerprints, quite unique. I did enjoy the flow of your thoughts, and wish you the best for the contest.

I better check my quotes, me thinks. I was instructed by a friend that all quotes begin with a CAPITAL letter. I need to see how I did with this since it was written before my tutoring. Luv ya.

The quotes here all look pretty good! Lol.
I knew from the title that it would be you. All the best.

This is an interesting combination of contrition (qualified) and celebration.
The author claims he enjoys writing whether it is read or not. The fact he has kept his work to leave to his kids and/or his college, suggests that he feels it deserves preservation. I am writing this in Paris on a dull November afternoon and thanks for bringing a wry smile to my lips as I read it!
Though I can't agree with you about Dylan Thomas.

Yea. Dylan is beloved but you'll have to tell me how to read him. I've tried. He is the only author I haven't gotten to first base with. He's been a wild pitch that hit me in the head.

My goodness, you certainly are a thin regardless of your sitting position or stance in the world. Some of my greatest thoughts come from the bathtub. I often wonder why. Maybe it's the resting mind. Sending you my best today as always and my very best in the upcoming contest,
Sally Law :))

"are a thin regardless." You have lost me. Do you know how water rolls off a duck. That's me regarding what I say. Wrong? Likely, but my mind hasn't a filter and my mouth just flaps its gum as if ordered by my id. :-)

Well! "A plentitudinous mind", eh? Most any of us here would have happier lives if we adopted your principle of writing only for oneself and not caring whether one publishes. I happened to sit in a cafe in San Francisco and watched Lawrence Ferlinghetti recite one of his poems. I even snapped my fingers when he finished. But I would have traded that memory any day for one of watching Dylan Thomas reading "A Child's Christmas in Wales." Sorry ... I like to talk, too, LOL. Good luck with the contest.

I am certain many feel of Dylan as you. I bought a book of his poetry and tried endlessly to understand what he wrote. That didn't work, so I found snippets of people reading out loud his pieces and ended up not feeling any better. He must be a acquired taste, like me. Thanks for the read.

Well, I like this silly writing of yours. It gave me a much-needed laugh today. I love the picture you added to the writing, too. Somehow, it seems appropriate. Best of luck in the contest.
