I'm very moved by your story. Ann is a very impressive person and she has achieved so much for someone who comes from a humble background. She worked until she was at least 77 years old when she sold her business. That's very admirable. I spent a Chinese New Year without my mother when I was fifteen. She was in jail. My new book "Chinese Lolita" is about many very sad and unique stories of my family.

Thank you. I may very well, She died in 2006 and I have not yet come to grips with the finality of it yet. I guess I should seek some type of closure.
