Ugh. No fair. You canNOT start my Sunday like this...weeping with abandon because this was poignant and beautiful and RAW and HONEST and fabulous. The words themselves were hard enough to digest, but then with the song added in? I bet anything you are going to be boogying down to the winner circle with this gem. Wow. This is a powerful and heartbreaking piece. It's so sad that she could not be reconciled with her family in the end, but at least she had a true friend she could count on. Goes to show, blood is not always thicker than water.
