I'm so sorry for your tragedy, and the disputes among family members. Emotions are very high. Grief makes it difficult to pass judgement on others during this grave period. I've been there. My prayers go out to you and your family.

It seems difficult sometimes to get to the crux of things, to wonder what's really going on. I think that that the person dying deserves to have his requests honoured, irrespective how one feels about, God honours us. Of course I'll pray for wisdom to manifest in this situation, beautifully written Barbara, blessings Roy

Barbara, you'll have plenty of prayer from your FS friends. It is unfortunate that his wishes are not being met without controversy, and peace and understanding within your family are what I'll pray for.

My prayers are with you and your family, Barbara. It is times
like these when the real love of family is needed regardless of
past differences. However, it seemed like John's second wife,
Stephanie wants to control everything for her own personal reasons.
I hoped she realizes her actions in this tragic situation will be what
family and others remember. I know you and yours will take the
high road and not add more unhappiness to an already sad situation.

Wow, why do some relatives have to bring drama at such a crucial time? I just attended a funeral for my nephew, and at the repass, three family members had to bring drama. I know what you're going through. You have my prayers, Barbara.

Wow. You certainly do have your hands full with your father-in-law and his current wife, Stephanie.

God bless you all, sweety. Prayers are going up, right now that sanity from the Stepmother will prevail. My Mother gave the order not to resuscitate as she know ew where she was headed into the arms of our Saviour. Hugs.

I'm sorry for this news. Having worked as a funeral director, I know how contentious some family can be. I pray that all goes well, and John's wishes are respected. How long has he been married to this woman? I think at this point, it's cruel to hook him up like that.

They been married around 15 years but were together before my mother-in-law died. They were having an affair. She sat with him during the funeral and moved in with in a week. It wasn't good. Thank you for the prayers.

Barb. You have my prayer line open. The man sounds like a father, and I can relate to his feelings. We who are in our eighties know and expect things of this nature. God will intervene no matter what. Why? Because we have asked Him. Be of good courage. Jesus is Lord.
