Hi Raul,
This is a good mix of poem and artwork. It is a wonderful picture.
Both father and daughter were great singers. The version of the
song with both of them singing in a duet is very good. It does
tribute to both their memories.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Happy Holidays.

Nat King Cole's music career began after he dropped out of school at the age of 15 and continued for the remainder of his life. He found great popular success and recorded over 100 songs. Doesn't the image give you chills when they sing together after a loved one has passed.

I saw the title and had to read as my daughter is Nat/Natalie! What a brilliant 5-7-5 that simply frames a moment in time, stating your excitement at this musical and vocal phenomenon united again! I love how poetry has no bounds. All our passions and interests can be explored and shared. Love your work.

What an interesting topic, Mystery Author. The picture was
perfect as were your words. I know that song was one of his
best. What an amazing way technology allowed them to perform
together. Great job with the syllable count per line. It was
unforgettable they were able to sing 'Unforgettable" together.
Thanks for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

Oh, who can forget HIS version of "Unforgettable"? And their dual version is almost as memorable. I am so pleased you wrote this 5-7-5 tribute to them both and the song. Rod

My pleasure.

This 5-7-5, Unforgettable, has the proper formatting and reminds me of this moment when Natalie Cole sang a duet with her long dead father through the magic of television.
