This is a great pic ..I love that extra-long ray and the sun just about to peek over the fluffy white clouds.
The ocean looks really peaceful. I love mornings when the town is still asleep. I see the buildings are white, just like in Tossa ... to reflect the harsh summer sun.
I hope you are wearing sunglasses when you are out and about.

I like this poem as it is very atmospheric. It follows the rules of the 5-7-5 contest in that it has the correct number of syllables per line and reads well. However, I think that I would have said 'Peace being whispered' as the last line rather than 'widespread' as, to me, that sounds a bit better.
