I like your Gogyhoka poem- nice picture presentation- the poem flows well - describes the setting longest night - and the subjects loons song nicely described in the notes- and your solidarity with it's sadness- with your emotional response- nicely done! AP

A ghostlike write with sounds to match here, the moon provides the mystery in the sky and the darkness adds a touch of melancholy here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Oh this is beautiful, Marival. The pivot line all but invisible but it is still there.
It's an emotional Tanka depicting a great sadness. Un besito, Ulla:)))

The song from this verse was written by a delicate hand.

To be alone in a room with nothing but your soul is a profound
thought.

The sound from the loon can wash over you leaving it's remnants behind.

A beautiful and stunning presentation and words. Both the poet's and the loon's sorrow and loneliness can be heard in the words. The chill and darkness of the winter night engulf the reader.
Best wishes,
Mary

Another fine poem, Gypsy----I. relate to that mournful loon, there's something forlorn and depressing about winter time, I don't like it, don't care too much for the holidays, anf hate having my Birthday so close to Christmas, nine days.

I don't think I've ever heard a Loon. I went over and googled it. Yes, they do make an anguished call. Thank you for sharing this with us. Your poetic description was perfect.

A lovely poem--I can hear the mournful melody of the loon mixed with sorrowful tears as well as feel the underlying grief expressed through each one. Thank you so much for sharing.

This GOGYOHKA is about thr moaning of Loons.
Melancholy rich in theme and imagery..
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
