Interesting and lengthy. My only suggestion is that you edit out some of the quotation marks which you use liberally. They give off an air of sarcasm.

Something called me to click on your name at random, tonight. How blessed was I? This is a heart wrenching, honestly delivered, impactful accounting. There are so many sides to this issue... I wrote "Babies in Buckets" about the same topic through my experience as an RN. Proud to offer you six stars, sir. I'm off to fan you, immediately!

I don't go to church and I'm not a saint, but I believe every unborn child has the right to live. How many unborns going down the drain could have solved world hunger, discovered a cure for all diseases, or even save a fellow human? I don't know. They could be killers or destroyers of life. No one will know for they were not given a chance.

First of all I do not believe in abortion but I want to say that this has been an eye opening experience. Your compassion and honesty are apparent for what you discovered about yourself, the women who come looking for help , Planned Parenthood and those against abortion. I think some people who demonstrate are so filled with self righteousness and hate. We are not here to judge. Very well written, good job.

What a brilliant and unique piece of writing this is. I found this to be very interesting and intriguing. The stories of the people you have shared and the sensitivity with which you have shared them are moving. Most touching are your own confessions and realizations. Great work. You have my 6 stars for blowing me away with this piece - that doesn't happen often.
Thanks for sharing, mystery author.

Maybe it's just me- but I felt the title of the story didn't quite grab me, though I do understand the context. I suppose I've become too used to "clickbait" methodologies.

Your story was well-written, easy to follow and compelled me to keep reading. The topic is difficult to have open discussions as many see it as a black and white issue with little, if any, shades of gray.
As to how men and women are treated regarding morality, the world has not changed much. Even in the Bible story you quoted, only the woman was brought before Jesus. Adultery requires two people so where was the man in that story?
Thanks for sharing such a thought-provoking story.

Well written. Can you include the second paragraph with the first one, since they are inter-related?

I agree with you on all counts. A female who can't have a child for any reason must have options for getting rid of early pregnancy. I never wanted a child and had the after-morning pill once.

I don't think you should ever listen to a male's perspective. What do they know of the pains of miscarriage or of an unwanted pregnancy? All they know about is how to ejaculate.

I would stick to the truth in Franks's case with the girl. Unfortunately, you were biased by having feelings for Frank yourself.

As for the trials of the catholic church, it seems they live with old rules and in the dark ages. Forgive them for they see no difference. Keeping up with the times is the only solution here. Thanks for writing this profound insight into your working life.
