I guess that is one way to bring home the groceries. If moma snake is starving, she probably won't mind some partially digested frog. I guess maybe sin didn't enter the world that day, thanks to Willie.

Willy Worm. I guess he deserves a stand-alone story.

Well written Bill,
The sad thing is man is so often that fickle and the master of poor choices,'
I enjoyed your tale and love the illustration.

This reads like a fable - a form of writing with a very long history! The ironic twist at the end adds to the humour! The Old Testament offers many opportunities for the modern writer. I really enjoyed this!

An interesting story and interesting lesson at the end.
Another way to look at the Adam and Eve story from Genesis.
Well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.

Lol. Now you made the Snake innocent, blamed by his mother, and all he was doing was grocery shopping, except for getting revenge on the mouse who ate his pet's brother, Wally. Fun stuff, Bill.
Suggestions:
"Well, hey there mouse. (there, Mouse)
"A talking worm? Is he okay." (okay?) question mark instead of period.
Snake sprang it the mouse (at the mouse?)
picked another and ate it." (no end quotes needed)
