Writing poetry, or prose even, certainly is a very good method of revealing the writer's unique inner self and allows means to express themselves in ways not otherwise available. A little piece of the Writer shines through in all the create.

Great entry. Your poem should appeal to everyone on this site. Our creations are truly a part of us, and when I don't write I get cranky. Writing is my therapy, I will do it till I physically can't anymore.

I love this cute short poem. It follows the required 1-6-1 syllable structure, and all three lines do rhyme. And it's such a truism. I can tell a person by the way they write.

Thank you Aiona. Great review. Yes, you are right. We self-identify. I can frequently tell who wrote something for a blind contest, sometimes even just from the title.

Like the idea of your poem. It is very true that we do write about ourselves and also take some ideas from our own life experiences. I hope you do well in the contest.

This is a good entry into the 1-6-1 poetry contest. The text is a great size. The message is clearly stated. It is relatable because I feel this way about my poetry too. It also provides a good rhyming pattern. The visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

This is so eloquent and perfect in its simplicity. I couldn't love it more. You have said everything there is to say about writing poetry in a mere eight syllables, Mystery Writer. That is no simple task, so I am duly impressed. Good luck in the polls. May you boogie down to the winner's circle!!

tough mission to make something meaningful in 8 syllables, with the added constriction of triplet rhyme. Of all the entries I have seen so far for this contest, yours stands out as the most meaningful - a poem about the art of writing, so most appropriate for a FanStory contest.

Good luck - this should do well.

well, that's very good. Now, you have us wondering who you are! :)
We'd (I'd) like to see more of you.
At any rate, this is a very good 1-6-1, a good message.
If I may ask, how do you get that pretty font? I always try and end up with plain old blodk letters.

Thank you Katharine for the super review. Very positive.
The font is Caveat (size 48). I like it because it is just a little different, yet easy to read, not too fancy, not too plain, and not heavy.

"Self Reveal" is a 1-6-1 writing prompt entry rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.
Good luck with your contest Entry.

Excellent presentation and spot on message. I think no matter what we write even if fictitious or varied in style, the creator can't help but leave a mark on their creation and so leave apart of themselves for the world to see. I like what I see! Keep revealing more of yourself.
