Sometimes the rains are like that. But despite the sadness that rains can bring you bring a bright light by mentioning the big smiles of mushrooms outside. After the rains we do see so many things growing. That balances out the sadness.

I do agree. I wrote this because I was mad at the weather. I like rain, but now that I'm on holiday I'd prefer to be able to spend more time in the garden. x

I wasn't really feeling down, Teri. I just wanted to be able to go out into the garden now that I'm on holiday for a week. x

Rainy days tend to be like that, I the summer days are hot and dry, they tend to be tedious after a while, so a cool, rainy day is aways welcome, but if the alternative happens, the longing for warm, sunny day is strongly needed, funny, aren't we? Rainy days tend to be like that, I the summer days are hot and dry, they tend to be tedious after a while, so a cool, rainy day is aways welcome, but if the alternative happens, the longing for warm, sunny day is strongly needed, funny, aren't we? I never long for hot days. I can't stand the heat. The truth is I love rainy days and we need them here in Spain, but I'm spending a free week in my country house and I'd like to be able to be out in the garden...

Where to start ... I love the presentation! I can relate with you if this is non-fiction. I am bipolar and in the past, I had depressive episodes that last from one to three years. They are the worse. Mania is dangerous but it's a lot of fun... not so much for the family. I like the way you express the feelings that come along with depression...very well done. Unlike you,I find mania pretty scary . I'd rather be depressed.
Anyway, I only wrote this because I'm on holiday this week and I've come to my little house in the countryside, but the weather is terrible. I don't mind rain, but I'd like to spend more time in the garden.x

We all miss Mike (and I barely knew him here), but the sun will return and we will leave our homes again to move ahead with our own lives. Sometimes these rainy days serve to help us to ponder our losses, but also the blessings of our own lives.
